Touch-A-Truck Event at the Elbert County Fair
Big trucks, dump trucks, plow trucks, bulldozers, tractors, heavy maintenance equipment, oh my!
A beautiful, hot Saturday makes for a perfect day for the Elbert County Fair in Kiowa, CO! Especially when that day features the Annual Touch-A-Truck event hosted by the Elbert County Government.
We strongly value our relationship with Elbert County, so we were thrilled to be able to help sponsor this fun event for the whole family. Kids of all ages got to put on their hard hats and construction vests and climb up to sit in the driver's seat, honk the horns, and shift their imaginations into gear.
These trucks play a huge role in our communities and are usually out plowing our streets, working construction sites or saving lives, but today they were available for a fun-filled day of exploration. It was so great watching children see, touch, climb and learn about these fascinating trucks and vehicles that they often see, but are rarely accessible.
