Announcement of McCandless Truck Center and McCandless Idealease Operations During COVID-19

McCandless Truck Center and McCandless Idealease remain open for business. Thank you for working with us during these challenging times. 

With the COVID-19 pandemic challenging our day-to-day operations, we are concerned about the health and safety of our employees and our customers.  We are following all CDC recommendations for facility cleanliness and employee safety and well-being but also want to ensure our ability to stay 'open for business' to support our customers.  Actions being taken to address concerns and minimize risks are changing by the day.  With this said, all customers are encouraged to call ahead to our locations ahead of any planned visits to our facilities.  We want to be able to communicate any special circumstances and hopefully offer alternative options to just walking in the door.

Like many of you, we have been closely monitoring the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and its latest developments, and wanted to take a moment to provide you with an update on our business operations.

As we all continue to navigate through the unique and evolving challenges to address this pandemic, we want to ensure you that McCandless team is here to help. At the same time, we understand that we must take smart and decisive steps to ensure that our most important assets - our employees, customers and business partners - are safe. It is truly our number one priority, and as we continue to monitor the situation on a daily basis, please know that we are taking the appropriate actions and proactive measures to protect all who visit and work in our dealerships.

We have made and are continuing to make adjustments to the way we work while implementing the necessary health and safety precautions in accordance with the CDC, as well as state and national health officials. We will continue to take action to implement new procedures and guidelines in the best interest of our customers, employees, and the communities we are honored to serve.

We know that the commercial transportation industry is on the front lines, working nonstop to deliver food, medicines and other essential supplies to keep our communities going. It is a significant responsibility, and the effort of the entire industry to keep trucks on the road has been nothing short of impressive. Our commitment to you will not waver.
