A fun day supporting the Colorado District 2 Little League Challenger Golf Classic
The McCandless Idealease team got to take part in The Colorado District 2 Little League Challenger 2019 Golf Classic today at Red Hawk Ridge in Castle Rock. It was a perfect day to get out on the golf course to support an amazing cause!
The Challenger program enables both boys and girls with variety of physical and intellectual challenges, including those with wheelchairs, to participate and enjoy the game of baseball! We are so happy to be able to participate as one of the sponsors for this great program in our Colorado communities!

About the Little League Challenger Division:
The Challenger Division was established in 1989 as a separate division of Little League Baseball to accommodate boys and girls with a variety of physical and mental disabilities and allow them the opportunity to participate and enjoy the benefits of the Little League program without the common struggles associated with typical baseball fields.
Teams are set up according to abilities, rather than age, and can include as many as 15-20 players, who can participate in one of three levels: Tee-Ball, Coach-Pitch or Player Pitch. Every player gets a chance at bat and they wear the same uniforms, shoulder patches and safety equipment as other Little League players.
